Cẩn thận với những email yêu cầu cập nhật thông tin tên miền

Theo quy định của ICANN thì hàng năm yêu cầu tất cả các nhà cung cấp tên miền phải yêu cầu khách hàng kiểm tra và cập nhật thông tin của người quản trị tên miền thật chính xác.
Lợi dụng vấn đề này, một số kẻ gian đã gửi những email giả mạo nhà cung cấp tên miền đến các email quản trị tên miền kèm theo URL đã được biến tấu y hệt như của nhà cung cấp tên miền nhằm đánh lừa người quản trị tên miền login bằng liên kết đó hòng đánh cắp tài khoản.
Mới đây nhất là trường hợp của một mod của forum namepros đã bị đánh cắp tài khoản theo kiểu này. Cũng may là anh ta đã nhanh chóng liên hệ và lấy lại được tên miền.

Qua đây cũng là một kinh nghiệm, tuyệt đối đừng bao giờ đăng nhập thông qua một liên kết từ email hay từ một website lạ, rất dễ bị giả mạo nếu chúng ta không chú ý.
Hình như paypal cũng khuyến cáo với khách hàng của họ là đừng bao giờ click vào link đăng nhập qua email mà hãy đăng nhập bằng cách truy cập trực tiếp vào trang chủ của họ.
